You’ve gotten away from washing all your dishes by hand but now you’re stuck with that awful chlorine smell in your kitchen as your dishwasher runs. Well, not anymore!

  Dishwasher Powder is made without chlorine bleach so there’s no irritating odour. It’s also 100% Phosphate free, which means that we’re not adding to the strain on our already overtaxed fresh water lakes and rivers.

Many conventional Automatic dishwasher detergents contain dry chlorine that is activated when dissolved in water. Chlorine fumes in the steam seep out of the dishwasher and can cause eye irritation and difficulty breathing. Many other brands also contain highly allergic enzymes, or quarternium 15, an eye and skin irritant and an allergen which can release carcinogenic formaldehyde. And if that’s not bad enough, traditional Dish Powders are the most common reported household poisoning among children!

We avoid the equally harmful replacements for phosphates - EDTA and NTA, used in many other phosphate free dishwasher powders.
