Our mission for this new site is quite simple… “To educate people about the connections between the chemicals we come in contact with and our own personal health”. We wanted our new site to be a place where people could find unique and informative facts about what’s happening to our environment and how these things impact our well being. I hope we strive to be a source of inspiration to people. I hope we can assist them in creating positive change for thier own health and the health of our natural world.

So here goes…This month's letter is one of encouragement, about a politician whose actions just may end up protecting Canada's fresh water lakes. Manitoba's Liberal Leader, Dr Jon Gerrard announced in late 2006 his party's plan to introduce new legislation that would ban the sale and use of phosphorus-based dish detergents in all of Manitoba! What the following report doesn't mention is that traditional Automatic Dishwasher Powders and Gels can contain up to 60% Phosphates ( unless of course it's Nature Clean...because we're 100% Phosphate Free), so this is a very big step to preserving water quality across his entire province.
