All Natural Bar SoapAll Natural Bar SoapNEW AND IMPROVED FORMULAEver give much thought to your bar soap? Here's a good reason to start! 76% of liquid soaps and 30% of bar soaps now contain anti-bacterials. Many people pick up anti-bacterial soaps without even realizing it. Others choose anti-bacterial soaps and cleaners because advertising implies that using them will help protect your family against colds and flus. But colds and flus are viruses, and anti-bacterials have no effect on them
A commonly used anti-bacterial chemical is triclosan, a suspected immunotoxin and a suspected skin or sense organ toxin. Triclosan creates a carcinogen called dioxin, as a by-product. A Swedish study found high levels of this bactericide in human breast milk.
Not all bacteria make people sick. Some are beneficial. Anti-bacterial soaps and cleaners kill both beneficial and harmful bacteria. By doing this, they actually leave us more vulnerable to the harmful ones. Children especially need exposure to some germs, to develop their immune systems.
Scientists are concerned that the widespread use of anti-bacterials contributes to the development of resistant bacteria, ie bacterial that will only be killed by different or stronger doses of chemicals. So when we need to kill harmful bacteria, like strep, staph and e-coli, it will be more difficult.
Nature Clean Face and Body Bar soap is a 100% natural, truly hypoallergenic vegetable soap. Created without dyes, whitening agents, animal tallow, fragrances or harsh preserving agents. It doesn't get any more natural than this!
It’s mild enough to use on your face and gentle enough to use on infant’s skin.
NEW Ingredients: SODIUM PALMATE, SODIUM COCOATE, WATER, GLYCERIN AND SODIUM CITRATE. (look for this new formula bar soap in it’s brand new box)
NOTE: Recently the Canadian Government made changes to the regulations surrounding labeling of cosmetic products. They have mandated that all ingredients, regardless of their percentage, must be shown on the label. This was a great step forward in providing consumers with the kind of information that they need to make educated choices. It has also forced our raw material suppliers to comply with these regulations and be specific about every ingredient used. It turns out that our soap base did contain trace elements of an ingredient called EDTA. As we do not promote the use of this ingredient, so we’ve launched our bar soap with an improved formula in a new box!
