Re:   Ecologo Update

Here’s an update on the progress of our journey towards having all Nature Clean products in full compliance with Terra Choice’s Ecologo program.

We expect to be in full compliance by May 28th, 2008.

In keeping with our company’s policy of complete transparency, the following outlines our action plan currently underway.

1. Any Nature Clean products currently shipping with the Ecologo symbol that are now with Terra Choice for resubmission may be temporarily over-stickered until the May 28th deadline. After this date, the following products will continue to proudly display the Ecologo symbol.
   
   
   • Dishwashing Liquids
   • Multi Surface Cleaner & Degreaser
   • Kitchen Surface Cleaner
   • Toilet Bowl Cleaner
   • Floor Cleaner
   • Glass & Window Cleaner
   • Tub & Tile Cream Cleanser
   • Auto Dish Powder
   • All Purpose Cleaner
   • 3X Concentrate Laundry Liquid
     
     
2. The complete line of our other Nature Clean Laundry Products and Personal Care Products are in good standing and will continue to carry the Ecologo.
   
   
3. The following products that have carried the logo and were not previously approved, or where a category does not exist, will have new labels applied without the Ecologo. In some cases this will only be until we can resubmit our application for certification in the near future
   
   
   • Auto Dish Gel
   • Microwave & Oven Cleaner
   • Pet Stain & Odour Remover
   • Fruit & Veggie Washes
   • Furniture Polish
   • Rinse Agent
   • Carpet & Upholstery
   • Household Disinfectant

The above action plan ensures that our long standing relationship, of 12 years, with Terra Choice, will continue as we bring more and more innovative and environmentally safe alternatives to market. Nature Clean continues to support the importance of 3rd party certification, even when a great many of our competitors will not.

We look forward to having all of these Ecologo issues resolved by the end of this month.

natureclean^® products and the EcoLogo^M environmental certification program have a long and good relationship that dates back to the early 1990’s. Recently we’ve hit a few bumps in the road that I would like to address.  The TerraChoice web site that lists all products certified to use the EcoLogo^M wasn’t showing a good number of our products that do currently hold the certification. Our friends at TerraChoice fixed the problem immediately once it was brought to their attention.

Our thanks go out to them for such a speedy repair.

Secondly, we too made an error on the labels of some of our cleaning products. Some labels are currently in non-compliance with TerraChoice’s process for approval.  Rest assured that all our applications are currently being worked on and we anticipate that all our labels will be in full compliance within a matter of weeks.

We like to take this opportunity to formally apologize to our friends at TerraChoice for this.

We at natureclean^® have always supported the idea of Third Party Certification. Not because it happens to be fashionable in today’s marketplace, but because it offers our customers another reason to trust our brand.
