Nature Clean Teams up with the Childhood Cancer Foundation

Nature Clean® is now a proud supporter of the Childhood Cancer Foundation Canada and welcomes them to our family. We pride ourselves on creating formulas that are non-toxic and free of any suspected carcinogens allowing us to provide families with safe alternatives.

The Childhood Cancer Foundation Canada was established in 1987 and is currently the only national charity devoted entirely to the fight against childhood cancer in Canada. By raising money through events, fundraisers, donations, etc they are able to provide support programs for children and families, fund research and advocate for the children and their families who are affected by childhood cancer.

While big steps forward are constantly being made in the fight to cure children’s cancers there’s still much to be done and the Childhood Cancer Foundation is constantly creating programs that directly contribute to the increasing survival rates and the quality of life for pediatric cancer patients and their families.  Ultimately they hope to help find a cure for all childhood cancers.

THE FACTS:
- Cancer is the #1 disease killer of Canadian children.  Each year, cancer kills more children between the ages of 1 and 20 than asthma, diabetes, cystic fibrosis and AIDS combined.
- More than 10,000 infants, children and adolescents are currently being treated for childhood cancers in one of Canada’s 17 pediatric hospitals and treatment centers.
- The worldwide incidence of childhood cancer diagnosis has increased every year over the past 25 years.

THE GOOD NEWS:
- About 80% of the children who get cancer can now be cured
- Findings from research into children’s cancers have helped enormously in improving the treatment of adult cancer patients.
- Due to research and an integrated treatment model, the cancer death rate has dropped more dramatically for children than for any other age group.

THE EVEN BETTER NEWS:
